Kid's Martial Arts
The Little Dragons program is designed specifically for kids 4–6 years old who are looking for an introduction to karate. We teach basic techniques that help build balance, eye-hand coordination and flexibility. These techniques are taught in an exciting way to keep our students focused on the material.
The class is designed to also develop essential learning skills such as focus and concentration. Teaching these fundamentals improves your kids' performance, not only in martial arts but also at home and in school.
Our Jr. Tang Soo Do program is great athletic training for kids. Learning the techniques in martial arts improves coordination, balance and flexibility. When kids use those techniques in our drills and sparring they improve their footwork, reflexes and spatial awareness. We take martial arts a step further by combining it with modern day athletic training to help build your kids into well rounded athletes.
The Jr. Tang Soo Do (7–11 years) At The Woodlands Karate and MMA students learn martial arts in a fun, high energy, highly motivated, and focused class. Our students learn a progressive system that combines Tang Soo Do with kickboxing and grappling. As part of their martial arts training our students learn simple and effective self-defense techniques and improve their athletic abilities.
Everyday we concentrate on building our students respect, improving their focus, and boosting their self-confidence and self discipline. We design our martial arts drills and athletic exercises to improve students listening and concentration. In addition, our self-defense system gives our students the confidence to stand up to bullies and ability to defend themselves with respectful, non-violent techniques.
